So without further ado this is what they look like: (Please forgive the printing quality – I ran out of printer ink as I was printing them – I’ll try to get another photo during the week with better quality printing – but I wanted to publish this article in time for Halloween so you could make them too.)
Easy Halloween Printables Decorations [How to Make]
These printable Halloween paper chains are super easy to make. All you need is a printer, paper, sticky tape, glue or staples and scissors and you can make your own Halloween decorations as a family activity that you’ll all enjoy.
I would recommend using sticky tape as it’s the easiest way if you have young kids helping you.
To get started simply download the Halloween printable templates and print them out. Make sure you print them with a portrait orientation paper setting. There are 5 strips per page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to download the free printable Halloween decorations.
You can print these on normal printer paper 80gsm or slightly thicker paper /cardstock if you would prefer. Once printed, cut out each strip of paper.
Depending on how long you would like your paper chains to be – I would start with 10 pages per design. This will be a good start and you can work out if you need any more once you start making them.
This will give you 100 paper chains to connect as there are 2 pages per design with 5 strips on each page.
Free Printable Halloween Decor
The Halloween printable decorations are made with 3 different designs that you can access at the bottom of the article.
Each printable has two pages with 5 designs per page. The two pages are slightly different.
For example with the ghosts: one on page they are facing straight and on the second page the ghosts are sideways. Depending on how you plan to hang your garland will determine which one to use. Or use both…it’s up to you.
To make some really long decorations I printed 100 strips (5 strips per page) and attached them all together. The total length of the chain was just over 12 feet or 368 cm long. You can obviously make these are long or as short as you like.
