The first fun idea for the free elf printables is a Christmas themed ‘Would you Rather’ game. This is fun to play with the kids and the older kids can help the younger ones with reading this one. Just print it out, place it next to your elf with a pen or pencil and get your child to answer the questions for your Elf to read.

The next printable is like a Christmas scattergories game called “Merry Christmas ABCs”. Have your child write or verbally think of Christmas items that start with the letter on the sheet.

Printable Elf on the Shelf Ideas
The next fun printable Elf on the Shelf game is ‘Roll to Decorate the Tree’. All you need for this game is the printable sheet, and some dice and candy or crayons.
There are two ways to play this game. Have your children take turns to roll the dice and if they roll the number on the tree they can put some candy on there. The one who fills the tree first wins. It’s a bit like a bingo game.
Now if you don’t want to use candy you could have your child color in the numbers instead. It’s up to you!

Santa’s beard maze is a fun printable for Elf to leave out for the kids to find the next morning. It’s definitely a challenge, so get them to try it with a pencil and eraser. It should keep them busy for a while at least.
